In 1905, Buick would only produce the Model C, which really was a virtual carbon copy of the Model B. By year end, a total of 750 Model C Buick`s would be built. This example is one of only 14 known to exist today The original owner of this beauty was the well-known photographer for the Horseless Carriage Gazette he later sold the car to Lyle Muth who converted the brakes from mechanical to hydraulic and also added a self-starter to the engine. Some years later Dr. Gernee of Aptos, CA acquired the car and took it touring for many years. In approximately 1970 the current owner was thrilled to come across this find and add it to his collection. The original top has been removed and is in need of repair but all the parts are with it and can easily be reattached to the car. The engine was rebuilt in the 2017 and is in good driving condition.
